Hey, this is Dustin. I was sitting here looking over Sara's new and improved blog and wanted to take the time to mention how much I love her. She has spent a lot of time working on this blog so that you all (our friends and family) can keep up with what is going on in our lives way down here in Jacksonville. She has done such a wonderful job and I am so proud of her! I know that it has been a challenging last few months trying to adjust to our new lives. I am not always able to help around the house but she has kept everything running smoothly.
Residency is going well, although it is overwhelming at times. I am on an outpatient month, which means I just work in clinic all day. That means that I don't have to go in really early or stay really late, which has been a nice reprive. I am on call 1-2 times per week which means that I stay at the hospital after regular business hours through the night and leave the next morning. As you can imagine that makes those nights difficult for Sara, at home with the kids by herself. She tells me that she has trouble sleeping without me, which sounds sweet at first but I think it's just because she watches scary TV shows before she tries to go to bed.
Anyway, I should get back to studying . . . Okay, your right, I just want to go see the second half of the Monday Night Football game. Thanks for taking the time to read our blog and we hope that you can continue to feel like a part of our family. Again, thanks to Sara for putting so much work into keeping this blog up to date. She really is a wonderful woman and I am honored to call her my wife. I love you, Babe!
